Raquel is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has over a decade of experience working with youth, families and adults struggling to cope with stressors related to involvement in the legal system, mental health, addiction, behavioral and sexual issues.

She is a full-level SOMB provider for adults who have  sexually abused and an associate-level SOMB provider for juveniles who have sexually abused. Raquel believes that her client’s are the experts of themselves and takes a holistic approach to addressing the symptoms and thought patterns causing her clients to experience problems with their self-esteem, relationships and behaviors.

Raquel is a Colorado native, who has held multiple therapist positions in the valley, in a variety of settings, and thus built an extensive therapeutic skill set focusing on cognitive-behavioral and trauma-responsive therapy techniques. She loves yoga, travel, watching sports and spending time with her family.
